Creating a “home for jazz” in Santa Clarita has been a dream of Bill Miranda for a number of years. He engaged with a number of musicians and venues in an attempt to create that “home” to little avail. This year suddenly some things came together, and it appears Bill will get his wish.
First, Bill met with John Pramik of Pramik Entertainment that provides entertainment for special events. John is a world-class musician. John has put together some of the hottest artists Los Angeles has to offer for many events. They agreed to join forces and for this event John created an “All Star” jazz band for the Speakeasy Jazz Concert.
John and Bill searched a number of venues in Santa Clarita before they found what they feel is a “perfect venue” for the “home of jazz” in Santa Clarita. That venue is Hart & Main in Newhall. The location, size, elegance, and uniqueness of the venue along with the willingness of the owners and staff of Hart & Main to support the idea made it easy for John and Bill to collaborate with them.
Once the production and venue came together, Bill felt he wanted to help one of his local non-profits by inviting them to participate in the collaboration. Bill chose Bridge to Home!
